i have multiple things i should be doing today. needless to say, by the fact i am putting an entry on my blog, i am not doing them.
i had chocolate for breakfast. this is not a good idea.
meet my bookshelf. it is my friend.
i Love my bookshelf. this is one of two in my room. i also have a desk covered in books.
as soon as i go into people's houses, the first thing i look at is their books. this is lame.

I also like to scan bookshelves when I go to other peoples' houses. It gives me an idea of how much we have in common, and ideas for conversation if things run a bit dry.
I sometimes try to peek when they aren't looking, though, as some folks are very possessive of their books. ;-)
I don't think it's lame! I think you can find out a lot of things about a person by seeing what kind of things they read. Sometimes things they don't want you to know. =)
Also, it's a great way to get a book recommendation sometimes!
isn't that big-ears? not noddy?
Hey, I had chocolate for breakfast too! It's a marvelous idea!

Hallo I absolutely adore your site. You have beautiful graphics I have ever seen.

we have some things in common...
collecting books and eyeballing other people's books: a) in case we can proclaim "hey I've got/read that!"
or b) "hey, I've been wanting to read that!"
either way, we're hopeless.
does eating frozen chocolate chip cookie dough w/butterscotch chips in it count as eating chocolate for breakfast?
it's been too @$%! hot to bake them, so I stuck them in the freezer and started eating them as frozen doughballs instead.
