it will be an early night for me.
i am Exceedlingly excited by the new knitty, and the exciting gloves. i am just now arduously trying to find some laceweight yarn which i can make them with. this is far harder than it should be.
the no smoking laws are so GOOD. going out no longer means smelling like an ashtray the next day. unfortunately, i feel like i have eaten a sock, from having to get some dutch courage before going out, to the two coctails drunk in fast sucession, to the finale of the beer. ergh.
i went home and listened to my Happy Playlist, consisting of four hours of my favourite music, as i drifted off to sleep, before waking at 4 am! bla! in between, i was - what the divine mark at the alibi room refers to as 'good value - and i refer to as - a complete nitwit. but i had fun, in a drunk, singing sort of way. lots of singing. and sitting-dancing. and hugging people. and... attempting to have a conversation about art. hm. i think that failed miserably.
my hunt is on for laceweight. of course, littleknits has the most perfect laceweight baby alpaca. in every exquisite colour. apart from black, obviously. ::rolls eyes::
i have more hours in my night now that i don't watch Big Brother. after the repulsive sexual abuse thing, i just cannot bring myself to do it anymore. i mean, the show failed to condemn what happened, and i find that totally unacceptable. so, well. more music. less tv.
now, for proof that i do actually smile. this is my computer, kids! fishyfishyfishy in all its gender nonspecific glory.

nice picture.
yes - the no-smoking laws are wonderful. i spent several hours last night in a pub in caboolture and the first thing i noticed when i got home was that i did not have to immediately wash everything i was wearing!
Nice smile! Contrary to common belief, even the terminally gothic do smile on occasion.
And yay for no smoking. The first time I went to a bar after the law passed around here, I was so excited because I was able to stay for longer than 10 minutes without hurling. Cigarette smoke really messes me up.
Hi baby, hope your are feeling better. I had a dream that we met in a Japanese sushi bar in Melbourne LOL.
BTW - I quit smoking about 17 years ago - it sucked, but I figured it was counter-productive to be spending $ on both ciggies and asthma meds plus not being able to breathe during my 3-hour skating practice sessions.
You have a beautiful smile - you should let it out every now and then ;)
