beta meeee!

i have beta blogger now. this is mildly exciting.

this week in review has entailed:

- movie at GoMAAAAAA .... sorry. it needs godzilla sounds. movie was excellent.

- craft queensland love me, and want to display and sell my shawls. this is un-fucking-believably exciting, because craft queensland is an amazing gallery space. i am happyface of happyface about this. go craft!

- haven't had any exciting live musical times in awhile. lacking interesting things? i don't know.

- part-ay at janes last week. involved a lot of fuzball playing. actually, that was the main thing it involved. it was exceeeeeedingly fun.

- jasmine is moving to toowoomba! oh no! this is terrible. it is good for her, because she got into the music degree she was aiming to get in to. but, jasmine is so beautiful, and wonderful, and wherever jasmine is, is a happy place. and it also means the future looks bleak for marlinchen. also sad. oh well, at least they have an EP being launched so i can listen to their music merrily.

- my Social-week has been working well, and includes - going to stitch and bitch, hanging out with drew, nikhi and brad, going to a party, and seeing a moovie. i am resisting my socially-defective side very hard.

- IMA christmas party was jolllllly, in that the food was deliciously cheap. the actual party was both boring and scarily filled with strangers. free slushy cocktails! seriously, they came out of a slushy machine. hehehe.

- ihave finalised a few more christmas presents, including one for cousin nikhi. now, i Love cousin nikhi, beyond the point of a moral issue with a book, so she is getting a copy of 'deeta von tees' art of the tease.' i made the fatal mistake of looking through it, and it was utterly repulsively hard to reconcile with my Feminist Wiles. however, cousin nikhi comes first. oh, nikhi, if you find this and read it, act surprised. ;)

- i have found my university for next year. now i just have to do the shitty - application - and differing - massive - debt thing. and make sure i can do it externally. curtain university is in western australia. i am not moving to western australia. and, lordy bee, i will be qualified to be a Lib-er-narian in a matter of a few years. !

-lachlan moves into new apartment in a week- well, over this week. he will live walking distance away! not just walking distance, under a BLOCK away. terrrrribly celebratory-worthy.

It sounds as though you are enjoying yourself lately even though life is changing at a very rapid rate. I hope you are able to get everything you need for university.

I'm glad you got your squares. I had fun making them. My Grandma whipped one off in less than 20 minutes. She's crazy fast with the needles.
