last night, our plan was to see volver. only, our dinner was late, and i had to swap the tickets over to tickets for 'pan's labyrinth'. but by god, what an incredible film. the effects were beautiful, surreal more than real. the violence was horrifying, but so necessisary, so effective. a deeply memorable film. the story was beautiful, sad, at the same time euphoric...

i'm Going to Uni! ok, not that exciting. but i am damn glad i got my record sorted out, and i can go and start my masters now. filling out forms and sending them off today. whoooooot!!!!! librarian me! i am going to be a Grouse librarian!
