today is an exciting day!!!!

i picked up my wonderful parcel of happy joy, of which everyone at work is jealous. :)

i have duckka! how did you KNOW how much i love duckka!! and olive tapinade! see, the irony with olive tapinades is that i love them. but hate olives. i don't get it, but as long as i have tapinade and yummy bread, i am delighted! and wonderful DPN's in a beautiful shade of purple. they are the most prettiest needles i have ever seen, wonderful SP!! and a VEGAN EGG with VEGAN JELLIES! see, despite not being a vegan, i won't eat lollies/jellies due to gelatine. and i really love jellies. with a passion.
and dark chocolate. see, if there is no milk, it HAS to be good for you. :)

and beautiful sock yarn, so i can make some beautiful odd socks. see, now i Have to make socks.
and fluffy mohair, which i think i Know what i will do with.

and a really lovely little kit to make glass hanging things with, and a STUNNING cranberry scented candle, which is going home to sit on my shrine with kwan yin. happy craft face.

oh... but my beautiful SP -- address is unit 8 / 376 , not 276 ;) still got to me which is what matters :) i intend photo-ing tonight. hopefully. maybe. with poor lighting. bah. oh well.


in other, less interesting and exciting news, noogie and i went to an opening last night.... we got wine which was very good wine, and saw friend B. (who i saw this morning, in the same clothes, looking like he had had a Very Fun Night.) however, gallery openings freak me out. we need to go to them though, in order to Further Noogies Career, and to get into the habit of it. uug. it's the worst way to see the art. excitement plus though, it is under a month until the Big Huge Show, a solo show at metro arts for noogie, opening on my Birthday of all things. noogie was wanting to call it 'happy birthday elizabeth,' but it didn't happen. however, it was not as an irrational title as one would think, given the art work is portraits of queen elizabeth the first.

i am feeling like i have acheieved nothing in my life, compared to everyone else.
remind self i am only 21... blthgh. rut-land is crappy.
