impulsive decisions to move countries are fun. only, well, not for everyone. lachlan almost axphixiated over my decision to move to japan in feburary. (four months). after slightly more considered consideration, i am Investigating more options rather than just jumping into the first english job i can find. this way, i will not hate my job and want to die. and, also, the fact that i have barely enough money to pay bills, let alone pay for a plane flight to japan is also tempering said enthusiasm.
so, i am doing a more thorough investigation yes. and saving money. and, wheee! possibly securing full time work in the next month or so as bosses partner starts a new business. so i get to do exciting things like researching real estate and cleaning their house. ironic, considering how slobby i am in my own home. but i am good at cleaning other people's houses.
but, full time work! reallly working. not this stupid two part time jobs... exceelllent.
and, my sea silk shawl is finished. i am just feeling too damn lazy to photograph it ... or, er... block it. i LIKE it unblocked, ok. i really do. and it;s so soft, and the sea silk smells so good... and it scrunches like heaven.
i am now designing my First Ever Shawl. this one is based on the scaley dragony lace repeat i saw on the interweb somewhere, and i just changed the m1s into yo's because i have a strange devotion to yo's. they add happyness and dancing to knitwear. happy-dancing. happy!dance!ing!. and i think i am going to add a round of a lace boarder to it. with begging of monkeemoo to help, if she is not too busy drinking and fornicating off at uni. not that our monkeemoo would do that, right? :me sniggers:
in other news, i spent too much money at lush, and had a great bath last night. and got a face mask that reduced pimples exceedingly fast. now i can move my mouth without it pulsating! yay! and had a great sigur ros/ mum / under byen talk with the divine lush staff member.
